Allo

The phone line the reps live in, with a number each, and an agent that writes the call back into the CRM.

Dialers and phone In production 1 deep dive Last verified 18 Sept 2026

Allo is a business phone system built for teams that call all day. Every user gets a number, calls are recorded and transcribed, summaries are written into the CRM automatically, and an MCP server exposes the whole thing to an assistant. It syncs with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio and Salesforce, and the Business plan is 32 dollars per user per month billed yearly.

What it is for

  1. Give every rep a real numberA number each, local, with recording, SMS and porting. What makes a call answered is that it looks local and that someone can call it back.
  2. Get the call into the CRM without typing itAI summaries with custom templates, call tags synced to the CRM, and post-call actions. The record exists because the call happened, not because someone remembered.
  3. Let an assistant read the phone historyTheir MCP server connects the call history to Claude or ChatGPT, which is how a week of calls becomes a briefing instead of an archive.

What I measured

  • Published price, read 18 Sep 2026: Business at 32 dollars per user per month billed yearly, Ultra at 100, and a Solo plan at 120 dollars a year marked coming soon.
  • The AI agents, the SDR agent, the qualifier, the coach, sit on the Ultra tier at 100 dollars per user per month. The everyday value, summaries and CRM sync, is on the 32 dollar tier.
  • Call hours are not equal. On roughly four thousand of our own calls, the morning returned 1.85 times what the afternoon did. A dialler is only worth what the hours you point it at are worth.

What it is not for

  • Your team makes a handful of calls a week. A softphone and a mobile do the job.
  • You need parallel dialling on cold lists. This is a phone system that handles conversations, not a machine that opens five lines at once.
  • Your CRM is not one of the ones it syncs with, and you are not going to wire it yourself.

What it costs, as the vendor publishes it

Solo 120 dollars a year for one user one number, recording, AI summaries, marked coming soon
Business 32 dollars per user, per month, billed yearly a number per user, CRM sync, AI summaries and tags, MCP
Ultra 100 dollars per user, per month, billed yearly AI agents, custom dashboards, dedicated account manager
  • Priced per user, per month. A business number is included per user on the team plans.
  • Yearly billing saves 29 percent against monthly on their published page.
  • National calls are unlimited on their published terms.

No video on this one yet. When there is one it goes here, recorded on the real account. The page says so either way.

Questions people ask

Does it write to the CRM by itself?

Yes, summaries and call tags sync to HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio and Salesforce, and post-call actions can fire from the summary. That is the feature that pays for the tool.

Is it a parallel dialler?

No. It is a phone system for teams whose calls turn into conversations. Parallel dialling is a different product and a different price band.

Can an AI assistant read my calls?

Their MCP server exposes the call history, so an assistant can summarise a week rather than you scrolling it.

When should we be calling?

Earlier than you think. Measured over about four thousand of our own calls, the morning produced 1.85 times the afternoon. The tool does not change that, the schedule does.
