Dialers and phone

The phone is where prospecting data goes to die and where deals get made, in that order. Two different products live in this category. A team phone system gives everyone a local number, records and transcribes, and writes the call back into the CRM automatically, which is the only way that record ever exists, because a rep asked to choose between the next call and documenting the last one will always choose the next call. Expect around thirty dollars per user per month for that, and three times more for the tiers carrying AI agents. A parallel dialler is a different machine: it opens several lines at once, filters out voicemail, and hands the rep only live conversations, at around two hundred euros a seat. It buys conversations per hour rather than a licence, and it only pays for itself if the list is big enough to keep five lines busy, which is the condition everyone skips. Whichever you buy, the schedule matters more than the software. On roughly four thousand of our own calls, the morning returned 1.85 times what the afternoon did. Protect the morning before optimising anything else, and measure your own version of that ratio. A dialler makes the hour productive, it cannot make the hour valuable.
