Ocean.io

Finds companies that look like the ones already buying from you, instead of making you guess a filter.

B2B data and targeting In production 1 video 1 deep dive Last verified 18 Sept 2026

Ocean.io is a company search engine built on lookalike modelling. Instead of describing a target with filters, you give it a list of accounts that already converted and it returns the companies that resemble them, then enriches the people inside. It answers a question the filter-based databases answer badly: which other companies are like these twelve.

What it is for

  1. Turn a customer list into a target marketFeed in the accounts that signed, get back the companies that look like them. It is the fastest honest way to widen a market when the obvious segment is exhausted.
  2. Size a segment before committing to itKnowing how many companies actually resemble your best customers tells you whether a campaign has room to run, before any credit is spent on contact data.
  3. Feed the rest of the chainIt answers which companies. The people, the emails and the mobiles come from the enrichment layer behind it.

What I measured

  • They publish no price. The pricing link goes to a product signup and the plans page returns a 404. Checked 18 Sep 2026. Budget a sales call, and expect a seat-and-credits quote rather than a card payment.

What it is not for

  • You have no closed deals yet. Lookalike modelling needs a seed list that actually converted, otherwise it copies your assumptions back to you.
  • You want a published price before you talk to anyone. There is none.
  • You prospect a market defined by a register rather than by resemblance, such as every pharmacy in a region. A filter on an official list will beat a model.

What it costs, as the vendor publishes it

Every plan quoted by sales credit balance per team, quoted with the seats
  • The pricing link on their site leads to a signup, not to a price list. Their plans page returns a 404. Checked 18 Sep 2026.
  • This page will carry their numbers the day they publish them. Nothing here is estimated.

No list price is published. That is the fact, not an omission on this page. Their pricing page. Read 18 Sept 2026.

Me using it

Questions people ask

How much does Ocean.io cost?

They do not publish it. On 18 Sep 2026 the pricing link led to a signup and the plans page returned a 404, so the number comes from a sales conversation.

What does lookalike actually mean here?

You supply companies that converted and the engine returns companies that resemble them on the signals it holds. You are describing a target by example instead of by filter.

Does it give me contact details too?

It works at company level first. The people, emails and mobiles are the job of the enrichment layer behind it.

Is it worth it for a small list of customers?

It needs a seed that actually closed. With four or five deals the model has little to learn from, and a filter written by hand will do the same work for less.
