Icypeas
Finds and verifies emails, bills only what it finds, and counts an audience for free before you spend anything.
Icypeas is a French email finder and verifier. One credit buys a found email, a verification costs a tenth of a credit, and credits roll over instead of expiring at the end of the month. It also holds a people database that can be counted for free, which makes it the cheapest way to size an audience before paying to collect it.
What it is for
- Count the market before you pay for itTheir find-people endpoint has a free count. Knowing that a definition returns eight hundred people, not eight thousand, changes the campaign before it is built, and it costs nothing to learn.
- Verify at the end of the chainAt a tenth of a credit per check, verifying everything before it reaches the sequencer is cheaper than one bounce. This is the last step of our own waterfall.
- Find the email when the first provider missed itOne credit per found email, nothing for a miss, and unused credits carry over. It runs as a second pass rather than a subscription you have to consume.
What I measured
- Verification costs 0.1 credit, not 1. Ten times less than the headline number people assume, and the difference decides whether you verify everything or only what looks doubtful.
- Their credits roll over, which their pricing page states. Several competitors expire them at renewal.
- Counting people is free through their count endpoint. It is the equivalent of the free count that makes a market sizeable before it is bought.
- Their own published comparison puts them at 4.99 dollars per thousand found emails. That is their claim, read 18 Sep 2026, and it is the number to hold them to rather than one you should take on trust.
What it is not for
- You need mobile numbers. Phone finding is announced as coming, not shipped. Checked 18 Sep 2026.
- Your targets are local businesses with no LinkedIn presence. The database is built on professional profiles.
- You want one seat that also sends the campaign. This finds and verifies, nothing else.
What it costs, as the vendor publishes it
| Basic | 19 dollars a month plus VAT | 1,000 found emails |
|---|---|---|
| Premium | 39 dollars a month plus VAT | 4,000 found emails |
| Advanced | 89 dollars a month plus VAT | 10,000 found emails |

- One credit per found email. You do not pay for a miss.
- Email verification costs 0.1 credit. Domain scan 1, profile scrape 1.5, company scrape 0.5, reverse email lookup 10.
- A search result in find people or find companies costs 0.02 credit, and counting is free.
- Credits roll over. Yearly billing saves 20 percent.

Questions people ask
Does Icypeas find mobile numbers?
Not yet. Their pricing page lists phone finder as coming soon, checked 18 Sep 2026. For mobiles you need another provider in the chain.
What does a verification cost?
A tenth of a credit. That is the number that matters: at that price you verify the whole list, not a sample.
Do unused credits disappear?
No, they roll over. It is one of the two reasons this tool is on the site.
Can I count an audience without paying?
Yes, through their count endpoint. Sizing a market before buying it is the cheapest decision in prospecting and almost nobody makes it.
Where does it sit against a waterfall tool?
In front of one, or behind one. It is a specialist: it finds and verifies, it does not orchestrate. The orchestration is your job or another tool.
