Two different products get confused here constantly, and treating them as one is the most common reason a campaign dies quietly. The sequencer sends and follows up. The infrastructure carries the message and decides whether it arrives at all. You need both, they come from different suppliers on purpose, and the second one has to be bought weeks before the first one runs. Infrastructure is priced per mailbox per month, and that is the only number to size an estate on: 2.60 dollars on a provider's own infrastructure, 3.40 on Google Workspace, 4.30 on Microsoft 365. A dedicated IP is 170 dollars a month, which is a real decision rather than a default, because on low volume a shared pool is warmer than anything you can build alone. Never send cold from the domain that also carries your invoices and your password resets: reputation damage is not something you undo by stopping. Warm up before ramping, which means the honest answer to when can we start is about three weeks. On the sending side, ignore the headline price and line up four numbers instead: emails a month, active leads, mailboxes and bundled enrichment credits. Active leads is the one that runs out first, because a lead stays active for the whole length of a cadence. And check what the tool does the day a mailbox starts failing, because that is the day the plan is actually tested.
