Unipile review: the API is the easy half
A review of Unipile's messaging API read from its own pricing pages, with the account layer you still have to supply separately.

Unipile is a messaging API: one REST interface that connects LinkedIn, Gmail, WhatsApp and email accounts to your own product, so you stop building each provider integration by hand. This review reads its pricing grid and scope from the vendor's own pages, then looks at the layer the API does not supply: the accounts themselves, which is where MirrorProfiles comes in for anyone sending at volume.
What Unipile connects, and what one API call replaces
The documented surface, read on unipile.com on 20 October 2026, covers the channels your users converse through. The product pages name LinkedIn, Gmail and WhatsApp, with email workflows you can send, receive and automate. The company also positions the API beyond pure messaging, as a unified layer for messaging, email and scheduling.
For a developer, the claim that matters is what disappears from your backlog. Each provider you would otherwise integrate by hand, with its own authentication flow, rate limits and breaking changes, becomes a call to the API. The vendor publishes a five-minute quickstart video and offers dedicated support to get you through the integration. The work you are buying is the connector maintenance, not the first call.
Getting in costs nothing upfront. The site advertises a 7-day free trial, and its FAQ states there is no commitment or contract required: you pay as you go on a monthly basis. That makes the evaluation cheap in money even if it is not cheap in engineering time.
Set it up against rented profiles, and keep the two layers separate
Here is the part a pricing page will not tell you, and the reason we run Unipile against rented LinkedIn accounts rather than our own. Unipile sends through whatever accounts you connect to it, and those accounts come from your side. Connect your personal LinkedIn profile and every message the API sends flows through the network you spent years building, one restriction away from losing it. We keep the two layers deliberately separate: the rented-account supplier rents warmed LinkedIn accounts that run on their own IP, so a campaign never risks the profile you actually built.
The case for renting has two edges. If you send a handful of personal messages a week, none of this applies: your own account does that job. The catalogue note on MirrorProfiles flags the other edge: when your brand is the reason people answer, the workaround is to send the first touch from the real profile and move the volume to rented identities, so the brand carries the opening and the fleet carries the reach.
The third case is the one that decides the architecture. MirrorProfiles rents warmed accounts with their own IP, and its catalogue note says the sequencing lives in whatever drives them: rent the identity and run it from an outreach tool or an API. That is exactly the slot Unipile fills. Keep the two suppliers separate on purpose. When an account gets restricted, you replace it without touching your sequences, and when you change sending logic, you do not touch the account supplier. We have written separately about what a restricted profile actually costs, and that arithmetic is what justifies the second line on the invoice.
One warning from running this stack: the API is the easy half. The operational half is account hygiene, warming and replacement. Budget for it as its own problem or it will find you as an incident.
Price it per account, and know where the bill grows
Unipile's grid, read on their pricing page on 20 October 2026, is per connected account. The entry tier is 49 euros a month minimum, which includes up to ten connected accounts. From 11 to 50 accounts it is 5 euros per account per month with unlimited usage per account, and above 51 the per-account rate drops by band, with bands running up to 5,000 accounts and beyond. The same page lists the descending bands in dollars: 5.50, then 5.00, 4.50, 4.00 and 3.50 dollars per account per month as volume grows. The entry point is quoted as 49 euros or 55 dollars per month.
Before the per-account meter starts, the offer itself: Unipile sells a 7-day free trial with no commitment or contract required, pay as you go on a monthly basis, per its own site read on 20 October 2026. So the first week costs nothing, and after it you are on the 49 euros entry tier described above. The shape of that grid tells you where the bill grows: with accounts, not with messages. Ten accounts sit inside the flat 49 euros; account eleven starts the per-account meter. If your product connects one inbox per customer, your cost tracks your customer count, which is the healthy direction. If you connect many accounts per customer, model it before you ship.
The account layer has its own published price. MirrorProfiles lists 100 euros per profile per month for Europe and 150 dollars per profile per month, read on mirrorprofiles.com/pricing on 20 October 2026. Per profile, not per seat and not per message: the cost scales with how many identities your sending needs, which is why the two lines on the invoice should be evaluated separately rather than averaged into one cost per message.
| Tool | Published price (read 20 October 2026) |
|---|---|
| Unipile | 7-day free trial, no commitment, then 49 euros a month minimum including up to ten connected accounts |
| MirrorProfiles | 100 euros per profile per month for Europe, 150 dollars per profile per month |
| BeReach | From 99 euros per month after a 14-day free trial, plans at 99, 199 and 299 euros |
Decide between the API and a full outreach platform
If nobody on your side will write code, an API is a construction kit, and a ready-made platform is the shorter path. BeReach, read on bereach.ai/pricing on 20 October 2026, sells LinkedIn outreach from 99 euros per month with a 14-day free trial, with plans at 99, 199 and 299 euros per month for 2, 3 and 5 LinkedIn accounts respectively, and every plan includes the AI, the lead search, MCP and the API.
If you stay on the API side but only need LinkedIn, the crossover point is channel count, not volume. Our LinkedIn infrastructure category gathers the tools we run at that layer.
For us the answer was Unipile plus the rented fleet: the API for delivery, the rented fleet for the accounts, and a clean seam between the two.
That seam is the whole review in one sentence: Unipile prices and delivers the messaging layer well. If you have already solved the account layer, it is a sound buy. If you have not, solve that first, because the API will happily send through an account you cannot afford to lose.

What people still ask
How much does Unipile cost per account?
The entry tier is 49 euros a month minimum and includes up to ten connected accounts, read on their pricing page on 20 October 2026. From 11 to 50 accounts it is 5 euros per account per month with unlimited usage per account, and the per-account rate drops in bands above that, down to 3.50 dollars per account per month at the highest volume listed.
Is there a free trial or a contract with Unipile?
The vendor advertises a 7-day free trial, and its FAQ states there is no commitment or contract required: you can pay as you go on a monthly basis.
Does Unipile provide the LinkedIn accounts that send the messages?
No. The API sends through the accounts you connect to it, and those accounts come from your side. If you send at volume, you connect rented accounts rather than your own, which is a separate purchase from a separate supplier.
What does MirrorProfiles cost on top of the API?
Its published price, read on 20 October 2026, is 100 euros per profile per month for Europe and 150 dollars per profile per month. That is the cost of the accounts layer only; the messaging API is billed separately by Unipile.
When should I pick an outreach platform instead of Unipile?
When nobody on your team will write code. An API is a construction kit, and a platform like BeReach sells ready-made LinkedIn outreach from 99 euros per month after a 14-day free trial, with the AI, lead search, MCP and API included on every plan.
